I found these two things online, they are supposed to roughly measure your life expectancy. I thought it was an interesting way to put in perspective just how short life can be, and that we should live each moment to the fullest and "seize the day".

I checked out the death clock. I was born in 89 and it said I will die in 2090. The death clock is estimating a very long life (nearly 100 years) which was interesting considering I am a light smoker (less than half a pack a day). I did have a great BMI so maybe that has more of an impact on the results?
ReplyDeleteI checked out both and they have different ages but at least they are both old ages :) I like that the death clock one said how many seconds I have left to live, that was a fun aspect. I have 1,818,074,900 seconds left to live at this moment, which puts me at dying May 9, 2069, making me 79-years-old. I also did the other Dr. OZ death tracker and that was more fun because with every answer you gave your age went up or down depending on how you answered your questions. I liked that one better because it says I will live to be 84-years-old and who doesn't want to live longer?
ReplyDeleteWhen I plugged my information in it said I'd live until I am 101 years old! I don't know how accurate this website is but knowing things like this creep me out. I don't want to know when I am going to die... I want it to happen whenever it is my time to go.
ReplyDeleteWe spoke in class about whether or not we would want to know how long we had to live if we were terminally ill. I would not want to know. I would rather continue living my life with out knowing I have a time limit.
